2004 Inboard Boat Buyers Review

     Due to the positive response we had to last year’s Inboard buyers report, we thought it would be even better if it could be expanded to include anyone buying or shopping for an Inboard ski boat.  The boat show season is just getting started. Wouldn’t you like to have as much buying information as possible?

     At present there are several publications covering boat performance and specifications, but these seem to be lacking in the objectivity department and are strong in the marketing department. All boats are not created equal. All boats do not deliver world class, butter soft wakes as some publications would have you believe. All boats do not have acres of storage and sitting areas.

     We would like for potential buyers to document their shopping and testing. Evaluate and give performance opinions of various brands and model boats. This would give a more real world evaluation of these boats. Why did you choose a particular brand over another? Would you have to make compromises to buy your particular boat? Or, is it the boat of your dreams and better than imagined?

     What are the requirements you need in a ski boat? How does your choice of test boats deliver in those categories?  If a particular brand doesn’t suit your needs, feel free to express why. That’s what this review is all about. 

     All opinions and test data is appreciated and will be formatted into an article to be presented on Aquaskier.com  You need not be a world class skier to evaluate these boats. Most boats are purchased by average skiers to be used on weekends.  Even if you don’t purchase now, your test data will be helpful in compiling useful information for others buyers to use.
